Work out what you actually need to generate the first year's sales.
How?
Walk yourself mentally through the process of finding and selling to customers and of doing the work to deliver your product or service. Ask yourself if you really need much more than a phone, desk, computer, website and/or sales literature?
Be flexible - consider options of working from home or hot desking in business centres before setting up a full office. Above all - don't spend money on overheads until you've either got the capital injection you need, or have generated the income to pay for it.
